Every time I visit Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs, I notice something new. During my most recent visit, I was sitting at a table next to the “Ice Maker”. Check out all of the moving parts, bubbling water, and the final product – the spherical “ice cube.”I highly doubt it is real ice, but the Ice Maker is one of the many cool themed items located inside the bar.
The theming and backstory of “The Hangar” was inspired by the Jock Lindsey, a seaplane pilot in the film “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” Although Jock only appeared in a maybe a minute of the film, Disney Imagineers used his character as a the inspiration for the bar.
If you are at Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney), check this place out. They have fun drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol alike) and creative small food plates.
