Philips Hue Signe Table Light Unboxing and Quick Demo

This video is an unboxing of the Philips Hue Signe Table Light. I also quickly pair the light with my Philips Hue hub using the iPhone App and show using the light with Apple HomeKit Scenes. During the demo, I do suppress the audio when I say “Hey Siri” so your Apple devices do not think I am talking to them.

Overall, I am impressed with the light. It is brighter than I was expecting and it will do well to replace a Hue Iris that I had lighting up the corner of my office. It is brighter and requires less throw in the corner.

Like most of the Philips Hue line products, this light is expensive, however for what you get. I wish the big brother of this light (the Signe Floor Lamp) was less expensive as well – I could use a few of them. As I complain about price, I am in no way disappointed or regretting the purchase.

During the quick demo, I use 3 different Homekit scenes. These scenes control my Hue Lights and Lutron Caseta connected devices. This is not the final home for the Signe. I moved it to be better incorporated in my office. After the video, I setup the light to work with my existing scenes using Amazon Alexa and also Google Homekit.
